Every engagement follows the same structure — because the structure is what protects the quality of the work.

PHASE 01
Research

We learn the category, the competitors, and the audience before we open a design file. Strategy comes before aesthetics, always.

PHASE 02
Design

We present a defined number of design directions — not options. Each is fully resolved and justified, not a rough for the client to finish.

PHASE 03
Refine

Structured revision rounds. Feedback is framed against the brief, not personal preference. We defend the work and explain why every decision was made.

PHASE 04
Deliver

Production files, brand guidelines, usage documentation. Everything your team — and future agencies — need to apply the identity correctly.

Strategy before aesthetics

We don't open a design file until we understand the position. A beautiful logo for the wrong market is still a mistake.

Clarity over cleverness

The best design is the one the audience understands immediately. Ambiguity is not sophistication — it's confusion with better typography.

Longevity over trend

We build identities that age well because they were never designed to be fashionable in the first place. Trend is a debt that comes due.

Accountability to the brief

We hold ourselves to the strategic brief throughout the project, not just at the start. It's the document that prevents subjective drift.

We don't take every project. We take projects where the client is ready to engage seriously with the strategy, trusts the creative process, and understands that the best outcome comes from clarity on their end, not rounds of revision on ours.

Anurag Bains founded Codex Corp with a clear thesis: the fragmentation between creative, design, development, and infrastructure teams is the single biggest obstacle to building a great brand. Instead of accepting that fragmentation as an industry norm, he built a structure designed to eliminate it.

Codex Corp is built on the belief that a client should be able to bring one brief and have it executed at every layer — from the first brand mark to the infrastructure that serves it globally. Anurag built each operating company with that end state in mind, ensuring they were not just individually excellent, but natively compatible with each other.
