This privacy policy explains how Codex Digital, an operating company of Codex Corp ("Codex Digital", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. Codex Digital is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and provides brand identity, logo design, digital product design, motion graphics, and marketing design services to business clients.
We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA).
1. Scope
This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website (digital.codexcorp.ca), through inquiries you send us, and in the course of providing design services to our clients. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

Information you provide
- Inquiry and project details: your name, email address, company or organization, and the contents of any brief, message, or correspondence you send when you contact us or start a project.
- Brand materials you share: files, assets, references, and other materials you provide so we can deliver design work. These may incidentally contain personal information about you or your team.
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed and approximate location). See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Theme preference: your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage key
codex-theme). This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. - Device and connection information: standard data such as browser type, device type, and IP address, which is processed by our analytics and hosting providers.

6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our business, including with service providers who process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:
- Google Analytics (Google): website usage analytics.
- Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare): website hosting and content delivery.
- Design and collaboration tools: software we use to create, review, and deliver design work and to communicate with clients.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect our rights, safety, and property or those of others.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Where information is handled outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access by courts and government authorities. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers offer a comparable level of protection.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Inquiry correspondence and project records are retained for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and portfolio purposes, then securely deleted or anonymized.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect it against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to legal limits, under PIPEDA and BC PIPA you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Ask questions about how your information is handled.
- Withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

11. Children
This website and our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
