2. What we use on this site

We keep this minimal. The Site uses two things:

A theme preference in local storage: your light/dark mode choice is stored under the key codex-theme. It stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.

Strictly necessary

The theme-preference local storage entry (codex-theme) is functional: it remembers your display choice so the Site looks the way you left it. It is set only when you use the theme toggle and is not used for tracking.

Analytics

Google Analytics cookies help us understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how visitors reach the Site, so we can improve it. This data is statistical and is not used to identify you personally.
